About Us

Attic Brewing Company originated in 2010 when we started homebrewing in our attic apartment in Philly's historic Germantown neighborhood. As craft beer lovers, we became fascinated with the art of homebrewing, and dreamed of opening a brewery someday. We love the history, culture, and diversity of Germantown, and know the neighborhood is the place to make that dream a reality.

As far as we can tell, there hasn't been a brewery in Germantown since the early 1900's. We see how breweries function as valuable community assets and want to use our brewery as a force for good by sharing our prosperity with employees and the community. Our mission is to brew quality craft beer with a focus on environmental and social responsibility and be a place where everyone can share their stories and build community over a few pints of locally brewed beer.

We appreciate every style of beer. By utilizing the best ingredients, techniques, and creativity, we brew a wide variety of styles to suit everyone's taste buds while sticking to our high quality standards. We will never serve you a mediocre beer!

Oh, and our taproom? It's not built yet, but we plan to be a destination brewery and incorporate everything we love into it...
