About Us
Craft beer has arrived in Carbon County—brewed in Lehighton and distributed throughout Carbon County, currently by Dunbar Beverages and nine taverns and restaurants.
Home base for Red Castle is the Castle Grill, the outdoorsy wooden building near the Weissport bridge that specializes in hamburgers and Polish specialties like kielbasa sandwiches. The Red Castle Brewery is behind and below the Castle Grill.
The Castle franchise is the brainchild of Lehighton entrepreneur Frank Potoczak. He operates the Red Castle Brewery with his business partner, Anthony Serafino. Serafino is the brewmaster and Potoczak provides the marketing.
Red Castle offers a selection of 11 beers in regular production. Everything from a pale ale to our lager to our amber IPAs. We had two items during the summer: a mango-lime IPA—great for hanging around at the pool—and a raspberry wheat called Wicked Jester.
