Collusion Tap Works is proud to announce the grand opening of its brewery and cidery in York, PA. Founded by Jared Barnes, Chuck Barnes, and Doug Barnes, the location features a modern setting complete with a 7 barrel brewhouse, 1 barrel pilot system, and a minimalistic style kitchen to complement the rotating food truck offerings in the tasting room. The tap room boasts 24 tap handles, all of which will be pouring beer, cider, mead, and soda produced on premises.

We are finally ready to unveil our brewery and cidery, and begin releasing our products to bars and restaurants starting in Spring/Summer 2016. We will have on premise sales, growler sales, keg sales, as well as special bottle releases every month. Collusion Tap Works will offer brewery tours as well. If you want to relax with a glass of cider or beer, we have a 70 seat tap room to kick your feet up. You can even challenge our owners to a game of shuffleboard or darts.

The main focus of Collusion Tap Works is collaboration. We want to strengthen the craft beverage community through mutually beneficial relationships. We will offer a wide variety of products for the ever changing palates. New beers and ciders will be released every week with a constantly rotating production schedule. Our barrel aging and sour blending program will allow for small batch bottle releases sold exclusively in the tap room.

Jared Barnes, head brewer, was born and raised in York. After attending the Siebel Institute Master Brewers Course and finishing his education at Doemens Academy in Munich Germany for Brewing Technology, Jared began his brewing career at Southern Tier in New York. He has since lead brewing operations at Darwin Brewing Company in Florida, Mispillion River Brewing in Delaware, and most recently was the head brewer at Wyndridge Farms in Dallastown, PA until May of 2015 before leaving to start his own project. His beers have won awards at both World Beer Cup and Great American Beer Festival, as well as Best Florida Beer Championships and Delaware State Championship.
